I have been in the orchestra of the "United Stages of Vienna" for 30 years, playing with, among others, Liza Minnelli, Tom Jones, Conchita, Julian Le Play, with Johnny Cash (who sadly passed away in 2003) in one of his last performances, but also with the "Lower Austrian Tonkünstler Orchestra", as a soloist at the Vienna Volksoper, and with Harri Stojka, Karl Ratzer, Dobrek Bistro, the Radio Kings, Roman Grinberg, ...

The original lineup featuring saxophone represents the formation with which "Meine Band" has performed countless times over the years. For dance events with a ballroom feel, for example, the version with saxophone alternating with a string orchestra has proven highly successful. In this formation, "Meine Band" plays balls and galas abroad (Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, China, Japan), often commissioned by the City of Vienna, or as the backing band for prominent stars.

Each musician boasts years of live experience and formal academic training. Whether soul, funk, disco, rock/pop, jazz, or Latin, they all have their specialties, which they have showcased in renowned bands (with Reinhard Fendrich, Wolfgang Ambros, EAV, Gloria Gaynor, Nina Hagen, and many more). "My Band" particularly benefits from this blend of professionalism and a genuine love of music. This ensemble offers the full spectrum of popular music. We are happy to accommodate special requests regarding the repertoire and can even implement them on short notice.
